THE GOAL
THE PUSH is fun internal project made to showcase the identity and characteristics of the Mighty Stone team. Since the sky is the limit, we try to push the boundaries and test the limit with this project.
THE CHALLENGE
My role in this project is to animate about 1/3 of the animation, and the script with storyboard are provided by the team members of Mighty Stone. The biggest challenge is that while the storyboard and styleframes was developed in 2D flat-vectored style, we have to involved many techniques - including 3D NPR shading and animation and frame-by-frame animation - to achieve the desired animation. So even when the projects took longer than expected to finish, the team learned a lot along the way since we can try out many new techniques.
