THE GOAL
Rue Miche is a multifaceted, high-end, multi-label concept store and cultural hub in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, specializing in independent design, fashion, and art. Their “PULSE” 2026 is an annual runway that marks a new milestone in the evolution of the Rue Miche ecosystem, bringing together 11 Vietnamese design brands on a single runway. The program is shaped at the intersection of fashion, music, and moving visual arts, creating a new platform for local brands.
The clients wanted to create an animated key element adapted from the Rue Miche’s logo for the Key visual and other social media deliverables like Social Posts or Invitations, etc. The animation had to convey the transformation “from attraction to activation, from frequency to rhythm”, so that fashion could not only be seen but also be felt like a living being, breathing and constantly evolving with the pulse of the creative community.
THE CHALLENGE
The creative direction was provided by the client, and my role in this project was to model and animate the key element. This was the first time I encountered this type of animation, so I had a chance to learn as I went with the help of lots of tutorials from YouTube to AI assistants as well. After the project was wrapped, having a better understanding of the mechanism of these features inside Cinema4D would definitely be a useful experience for future projects. The 3D animation was finalized as separate renders, before getting composited by the brand themselves for all the adaptations.
